Tampa Bay Attractions Offer Free Admission To Military, Vets

TAMPA BAY, FL — Some Tampa Bay attractions will honor members of the military this weekend with free admission.

The Florida Aquarium is offering all military two free general admission tickets from May 24-27. Up to four additional guests can also get a special 50 percent off aquarium general admission tickets. The offer includes any active-duty, veteran, retired, drilling reservist or National Guardsmen, and must be redeemed with a valid military ID at The Florida Aquarium Ticket Office.

At ZooTampa at Lowry Park, all veterans get in free with the purchase of one full-priced, single-day admission. The offer is good from May 25 to 27 and is available to all active-duty members of the military. Proof of service is required.

Busch Gardens is offering U.S. veterans and up to three guests free admission through July 15. This offer extends to SeaWorld. It is part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment’s longstanding Waves of Honor program, which salutes active-duty military members, veterans and their families by offering special pricing and promotions throughout the year.

Veterans must redeem their complimentary single-day tickets online by June 9 and use the tickets by July 15. This offer is available online only and not at the front gate.


Active military and veterans can always receive discounted admission tickets year-round through Waves of Honor.

Active-duty U.S. Service members will receive free admission to LEGOLAND Florida Resort & Water Park with no restrictions or blackout dates. This offer is not available online. To redeem this offer, bring a valid military ID to any LEGOLAND Florida Resort ticket window.

Non-active-duty military members, family members and veterans can receive "deeply discounted" tickets at each military base’s Information, Tickets and Travel office that include a second fay free.

Hooters is giving out a free entrée to veterans and active service members on Memorial Day with a military ID.
